Fifth Grade

5th Grade Supply List

* One 3-ring binder, about 1½ inches thick
* Two notebooks (70-100 sheets each)
* Three folders (with grommets if possible): one bright yellow, one red, and one blue.
* Pencils
* Colored pencil or pen for correcting
* Glue stick or liquid glue
* Scissors
* Loose leaf paper
* Subject dividers for binder
* One box of tissues

Optional:

* Clipboard. This would be very handy for outdoor drawing, writing, research, etc.
* Crayons, colored pencils, or other art supplies. I have a donated supply but students may also bring their own.
* Sunscreen. I will provide one bottle for classroom use, but you may wish for your child to have his or her own bottle.

Other:

As you are perusing garage sales this summer, or maybe cleaning out your own garage, please keep a look out for sports equipment (any balls, Frisbees, beanbags, flags, etc.), children’s books (chapter books or reference books—especially books about Alaska!), and art or craft supplies (especially heavy-duty art paper). Funds will be tight this year, and many of these supplies will probably not be available through the school.

Thank you for your help!
