Bike to School Day in the News

Thank you to all the parents, teachers and students that participated and volunteered. Everyone did a great job staying safe and flying the flag for safer routes to Watershed School. Local television and print news media and two Alaska Dept of Transportation officials were on-hand for the event and thanks to you our message was heard loud and clear! The next step is applying for a grant to do a professional assessment of the current situation and recommendations to improve safe access to the school. Jimmy Fox is working with ADOT officials to submit the application by 5/30. Stay tuned!
