Garden update and plant sale

on Sun, 05/19/2013 - 12:37

Needed- wheel barrows and shovels Monday and Tuesday for Watershed Garden work with the kids. We are building more boxes and there is a lot of soil to be hauled.

Watershed Garden plot families:

If not already so done, please pay for your garden box reservation. We just got a big load of lumber for new boxes from Northland Lumber. Due to the record late breakup, resulting in rock hard frozen ground, and the fact that we want the third/fourth grade classes to work on the garden fence, the garden fence will not be installed until we return to school after summer break.

Also, information will come

Spring clothing and gear update

on Wed, 05/01/2013 - 13:22

Parents,

It's starting to get pretty wet and slushy around Watershed. Please make sure that the kids possess and are bringing in their breakup boots (rubber boots) each day. Rain coats as well need to come in as we will go outside rain or shine.

Rubber boots at least calf high (ankle highs don't cut it ) or even better knee high, along with raincoats, are required gear at Watershed School.

Another note: We have faith that it will actually continue to warm up. Some of the kids are still coming to school with arctic gear that would be suitable for ten hours of ice fishing.

New application period closed
